From the Ground Up: A Guide to C++ was created by three high school students for a contest called ThinkQuest. The contest came to an end at the end of November when our team won a special award for Outstanding Technical Acheivement, which comes with a $20,000 college scholarship.

Additionally, we would like to thank the following people:

• Carol Goltz - Teacher Contact for Josh, Mrs. Goltz has helped us all stay in touch with each other through many network problems on both ends.

• Donald Hyatt - Teacher Contact for Andy and Brent, Mr. Hyatt has been pushing ThinkQuest since January. Additionally, he kept the TJHSST Computer Systems Lab open every Tuesday and Thursday during the summer, allowing us to meet to seek his advice and collaborate. Mr Hyatt has donated his portion of the prize winnings to help get much-needed equipment into the the TJHSST Computer Systems Lab.
