Linux is an alternative operating system (i.e Microsoft Windows) that suitable for people who like to learn more about computer and technology around it. I highly recommend students and technical people to learn Linux, It is very useful and it is a FREE OS.
My-Linux was established in 1996, with 12 core members, and we manage to get around 700 hundreds of members at one time (this is maybe not true anymore). Major activities that were conducted are Linux Expo and installation fest, seminar and talks.
The user group main objective is to promote the use of Linux. Among activities that we participate were:
IT Exhibition 1998, Multimedia Asia 1999, Linux Fest 1999, and Linux Parade 1999.

TM IDC: is a Telekom Malaysia's Internet Data Center project. This project is to provide class-A
hosting facilities to the customers with service guarantee up to 99.99999%. With the increasing
numbers of company that need to be connected to the net, "net-outsourcing" is the best and
cost-effective solution to be opt. Companies can concentrate on what their core business, while
the IDC experts will take care of the rest. The bottom line is, we will make sure our customers
well equiped and competent in this new economic era.
